I am a Brazilian radiologist with fellowship in body imaging and oncology. I've always been drawn to challenging cases and ambitious projects.

Since the beginning of my career, I understood that images alone help patients. But analyzing broader data can take us further. With this approach, I built several projects, including an AI solution that flagged patients at risk of bad outcomes during the pandemic. It optimized the coordination of ICU beds when they were scarce, saving lives. This project earned me a full scholarship to the Johns Hopkins MBA, the first granted to a Brazilian.

Today, as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern in Dallas, I teach residents and fellows while advancing AI and data-driven projects in healthcare.
